"Some stretch marks on the hips, some under the heavy, swollen breasts.
My body has changed, just like yours. Just like a mother's body changes.
I'm not perfect, no one is. Don't think you are worse than anyone. You are splendid.
And we are all courageous, because giving life is always a gesture of great courage."

FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When to do a maternity photoshoot?
Generally, the best time to carry out a pregnancy photoshoot is between the 27th and 33rd week of gestation, therefore between the seventh and the beginning of the ninth month of pregnancy, a period in which your baby bump is clearly visible but you will still be able to fully fit and able to move freely to face the session with ease and with complete peace of mind. In any case, this is certainly not the rule, because the ideal period is actually very subjective, so the truly best one to best enhance your future motherhood will be the one in which you feel most comfortable with your body and your shapes. , which will certainly emerge from the photos.
Where to have a maternity photoshoot?
My maternity photographic sessions generally take place outdoors, in Chianti area or in the splendid Crete Senesi near Siena, Tuscany, precisely to underline the conceptual closeness with mother earth, an element which, like every maternal figure, is a giver of life, light and nourishment. However, I am available to carry out sessions in other places, such as your home or other locations that perhaps have a particular meaning for you, but in case of bad weather or other needs, even in the studio in my large equipped studio, always in the name of relaxation and total serenity, putting you at ease, both in portraits and in couple photos.
Light and Weather conditions
Obviously, keeping an eye on the weather conditions of the period in which you would like to carry out the maternity shooting is essential, especially if the pregnancy photo shoot will have to be carried out outdoors in autumn or winter, so it is important that the day is neither rainy nor too rainy or too cold. The premaman photo sessions have a variable duration, starting from an hour if you are already used to being in front of the lens. Generally, however, the photographic session that allows you to express yourself at your best lasts about two hours, two and a half hours, considering the logistical times and that physiological half hour of embarrassment that disappears after the first shots. The best time is obviously the afternoon, from 5 or 6 pm until sunset for the spring or summer periods, while in the autumn or winter periods it is decidedly earlier to 2 – 3 pm as long as there is light. It would therefore be important to avoid the hours when the sun is highest, so as not to risk too strong direct lights and unsightly shadows under the eyes.
What to wear for a Pregnancy Photo Shoot?
Carrying out a maternity photo shoot is something very intimate and delicate, which presupposes a certain empathy with the future mother or with the couple being photographed. But beyond this, it is essential that the future mother, at the time of the shooting, feels perfectly at ease and confident, something that will shine through quite a bit in the shots. For this reason, wearing the right clothes is very important, in order to make the most of your photos with your baby bump. In general, in a pregnancy photo shoot, elements such as simplicity, delicacy and sweetness must emerge in every photographic shot. For this reason, even the clothes you choose must contribute to creating that feeling of harmony, to represent the essence of motherhood itself. Therefore, dresses with soft nuances, pastel or neutral colors such as dove grey, brick color and all the shades that recall nature and the colors of mother earth are welcome. Light colors are also good, but avoid optical white and total black, which are decidedly too extreme. Instead, avoid all those eccentric dresses, with too bright colors, with sequins or rhinestones that are too showy which would distract attention from the baby bump, appearing decidedly too much! Feeling beautiful and at ease during a maternity photo shoot is important, even more so if you have the idea of creating a pregnancy photo book. Comfort, therefore, cannot be an optional, even when it comes to the shoes you decide to wear during the service, which must obviously be cute but above all comfortable! So make use of sneakers, low boots or open sandals, but not if you plan to go countryside in steep terrain or with tall grass. In short, whatever you decide to wear, it must make you feel beautiful but first of all at ease, so as to have a pleasant experience from every point of view.
How many Outfits can I wear during a Pregnancy Photo Shoot?
Generally, for each of my two-hour maternity photo shoots, I plan 2 or 3 outfit changes, to then have photos with different types of clothing, mainly including different dresses, long and soft on the hips, possibly in a solid colour, which charms the belly or with veiled transparencies, but also a pair of jeans and a t-shirt that leaves the belly uncovered, keeping in mind the idea of giving substance to an elegant, refined and sweet image that best represents you. If you then decide to face a pregnancy photo session in the studio wearing underwear, be careful to ensure that everything you wear does not constrict your figure too much and does not leave unsightly red marks on your skin. The ideal, however, would be to choose simple but not transparent underwear, in nude or black colours, easily adaptable to the backdrops and well managed from the point of view of the lights.
What can your partner wear for a Pregnancy Photo Shoot?
Even for your partner or for the little brothers and sisters who will participate in the shooting, the rule of simplicity and neutral shades is always valid, but if this is possible, COORDINATE! In fact, if you manage to find a harmonious agreement in the colors and complement each other in the colors of your outfits, your maternity photo shoot will certainly benefit, thanks to the harmonious effect of the color palettes used. Therefore casual shirts or sweaters in soft colors are fine for him, avoiding optical white or total black and yes to jeans, but avoiding knee-length ones that give a bit of a beach look. But no to overly formal or formal clothing, which would be too out of harmony with the sweet mood of the moment, not enhancing the shots at all. Furthermore, there is also a ban on t-shirts with logos that are too obvious, writings or drawings that are too flashy which would certainly distract attention from the baby bump, resulting in the classic eyesore. In general, therefore, during a pregnancy shoot, anything that is too showy or excessively formal always turns out to be less than photogenic, because it is in stark contrast with the harmonious effect of the whole and the sweetness of the moment!
