I'M A LOVE STORYTELLER
I was born in 1977 in Siena, a small city in the heart of Tuscany, with a strong predisposition to visual culture, always fascinated by the art of photography and the ability to tell stories with the unique power of images. My photographic debut took place when I was very young, when my parents gave me a fantastic polaroid, a “magic box” that allowed me to discover all that was interesting in front of me, simply putting the reality on a film. Today I am a photojournalist and I’m an international awarded photographer of WPJA, Wedding Photojournalist Association, which gives me the opportunity to travel up and down Tuscany but also throughout Italy, creating romantic reportages for many exclusive destination weddings. I can therefore say that I am very lucky to be a wedding photographer in Siena, because I love this work and because it is the job I always wanted to do, growing day by day with my immense passion to tell the different love stories of the people who choose me as their dubbing of their most beautiful day.
MY STYLE
Strictly following the style of reportage, I tell my stories by working with wide-angle lenses that allow me to best describe the choral nature of an event such as a wedding. Stylistically I am a lover of natural light so I work with very bright optics, which allow me to reduce the use of flash to a minimum. Over the years I have learned to consider wedding photography as a true art form and I think I have now achieved a completely personal and exclusive approach to this type of photography. I love telling all kinds of love, in a non-traditional way but sometimes, breaking the rules!
I love joy and tears, the large open spaces and some small chapels in the Sienese countryside, the beautiful sunsets and also the falling rain, the bride’s shoes and every emotional detail that makes me take a unique and unforgettable photo. Furthermore, I know my land very well and all the splendid panoramas it can incredibly offer, such as Chianti and all the most interesting places that you can choose as a destination for your wedding in Tuscany: San Galgano Abbey, Florence, Sangimignano, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Cortona, in southern Tuscany. So, I will be happy to help you choose the ideal location for your wedding, engagement, elopement or marriage proposal. I currently work as a photographer in Tuscany, between Siena and Florence, but I am available all over the world, because traveling around the world meeting interesting people is what makes me love my crazy job!
